Dale Eggen

Dale has been fishing Mille Lacs Lake for over 30 years. He will guide you for walleyes, muskies, northerns, smallies and perch. This will be the first year that Dale also offers a complete guided fly fishing trip for smallmouth's.

Dale started fishing Mille Lacs at the age of 4 and has been "hooked" ever since. "Once my dad and grandma taught me the basics, they had a hard time getting me off the dock or outta the boat."

Dale has guided since 1998. He has also fished numerous tournaments on Mille Lacs and around the state. He has three top ten finishes on the MN tournament trail.

Dale has spent the last two years as General Manager of McQuoid's Inn and Angler's Paradise where he guided and drove the big launch boats, but looks forward to joining the Fishermen's Wharf team, bringing with a lot of experience and a laid back attitude. "Meeting new people and sharing my love of fishing with them is by far the most fulfilling job a guy could ask for!"
