The Fishermen's Wharf Resort is nestled on 90 acres of land, and offers lake lovers 1,300 feet of scenic lakeshore frontage.  As our guest, you'll dock your boat in a roomy 1,200-foot inland harbor, with docking for more than 140 boats.  You'll park your recreational vehicle in one of our 250+ sites, with full hookups or power only.  This area is also available for tents and ice houses for summer use.  

        And when you're hungry, enjoy a leisurely meal and refreshing drinks in our restaurant/lounge . . .

        For all you campers, we have the showers and facilities to keep your "tenting" fun ! ! !

        And,  .  .  when the season changes, we'll place your ice house on Lake Mille Lacs,  .  .  or you can rent one of ours,  .  .

Location

The Fishermen’s Wharf Resort is located on 'Big Point', on the southeastern shore of Lake Mille Lacs. On the south side of Big Point, we offer a natural barrier to the prevailing northerly winds, and complete access to this enormous lake. The Wharf faces south across the protected harbor on a sugar-sand beach, perfect for your recreational uses. Grand Casino Mille Lacs and Grand Casino Hinckley are just 20 and 30 miles away, respectively. The Red Top ATV Trail is only minutes away.

The Lake

Lake Mille Lacs has 132,516 acres and is the second largest in Minnesota. Mille Lacs ranks among the largest freshwater lakes in the world. Regarded as one of the premier walleye lakes in the country, it harbors excellent populations of muskie, northern pike, small and large mouth bass, crappies and perch. Centrally located, it provides Minnesotans and visitors from neighboring states an easy access to its shores and is ideal for individuals and families interested in enjoying fishing and other recreation available year round. 

The lake has a maximum depth of 43 feet and an average depth of 21 feet. The lake basin covers 207 square miles and has a maximum length of 20.5 miles and an average width of 13.5 miles. There are 86 miles of shoreline.
